The company of the month to take over

On the first day of each month our algorithm selects, among the receiverships, safeguards and liquidations published in the BODACC over the previous six weeks, the case with the most interest for a buyer. The choice is fixed for the month: it depends neither on a paid listing nor on a partnership, only on the computed score.

How the company of the month is chosen

The score out of 100 combines seven criteria: the legal action window still open, the type of procedure, the size of the business, the sector's median margin, the company's track record, its legal form and the indicative takeover ticket. Data comes from the published notice and the national companies register (NAF code, headcount, creation date).

The score shown for each month is the one on selection day. Today's score can be lower: the action window closes over the weeks, and a case taken over or converted into liquidation loses its interest.
